Type and purpose
      The transport pontoon is a non-self-propelled pontoon of catamaran type, formed by the combination of two pontoons "MAR" and "GON" of rectangular shape with a cut of the hull at the bow, with four towers of buoyancy: two towers in the nose and two
aft.
       The transport pontoon is intended for transportation of large-sized deck cargoes with a total weight of up to 6800 tons, including transportation of the top structures of platforms and their separate parts.
The navigation area is bounded by R3-RSN, the haul during the ice-free navigation season in the Caspian Sea is carried out with a distance of not more than 50 nautical miles from the place of refuge. The personnel can not be found on the pontoon during the haulage.
        Transits of the transport pontoon with a large load on the deck with a mass of 6800 tons under towage are provided within the established navigation area (R3-RSN) under the following hydrometeorological conditions:
- wave height 3% of supply 3.5 m;
- wind speed 17 m/sec.

Power plant
The power system includes 3 diesel-generator sets "SDMO Montana J130" power
130 kW each, providing power for the pumping system and lighting devices.
The ballast system consists of eight submersible pumps "Varisco-Titan 130-30" capacity
130 m2/hour each, as well as from a complex of pipelines, valves, clinker valves and other elements.
