Type and purpose

Marine non-self-propelled floating crane of pontoon type with a non-rotary load-lifting device for performing cargo operations at sea waves up to h3% = 1,25 m and wind force up to 5 points.

The navigation area is mixed (river-sea) on waves with a wave height of 3% 4.0 m, with the distance from the place of refuge not more than 100 miles and with an allowable distance between the shelter places not more than 200 miles.

Mechanisms and equipment

Positioning system:

• 8 winches of positioning, ensuring the movement of the crane in any direction. Pulling force 80 t on each winch and steel ropes about 1000 m long;
• A single control panel with information monitors provides control over all the winches and precise positioning of the vessel at the point.

Anchor device:

• the feed unit consists of 2 Hall anchors weighing 8000 kg, anchor chains of 78 cm caliber, chain boxes, anchor spikes and parking stoppers;
• The bow device consists of 2 stop-anchors weighing 3000 kg.

Mooring winches: 4 bow and 2 stern winches for maneuvering during cargo operations.

Means of active control: 4 screw propeller-steering columns for maneuvering while performing cargo operations and driving in quiet water at a speed of about 6 knots.
